JOHN ANDERSON PACKAGE: This is a reproduction Tobacco package for reenacting and field use. This new package was created after extensive research of period pre-1860 examples to include those during the war. An original sold recently for over $60. Using period fonts and attention to detail this reproduction is a near reproduction in size, shape, and fonts. The paper actually used then was more like construction paper so I used card stock to provide a stiffer product that will stand up to actual field use while reenacting. This package can be opened and I cut a little slit so it has the appearance of being sealed...there is no Tobacco inside. The intention is to use this for display for your impression. I took great time to historically reproduce this digitally and the label is a near exact reproduction of a period label during the war...see the pic of the original label which is shown as the last photograph but is not part of this sale. You can age the heavy card stock label with a damp tea bag but I\'ll leave that to you. I even sealed the flaps with wax and a little glue just like the original. 3-5/8 x 5/8 x 1-7/8 is the package size. Look at pictures carefully because this is what you\'ll get. ROBERT SMITHFIELD TIN: This is a reproduction tin for reenacting. This new tin would be great to lay with your kit to speak to the need to maintain your health and disposition by smoking. Ideal for your Union or Confederate impression. I took great time to digitally create this historically inspired tin based on several components of period products. Tin is 3 in diameter and 3/4 tall. Tin is 1/2 in deep. There is a small crease at top of tin to make lid tight. You can age the heavy card stock label with a damp tea bag but I\'ll leave that to you.
