Offered for sale beautiful, vintage, genuine crocodile brown leather clutch purse, handbag, made by brand Claude Design. I was not able to find online info regarding designer/brand, but regarding style, crafted quality, period, I believe it is French purse, rare and collectible from 1940\'s.. Similar to Cecille de Paris vintage handbags. Hardware is made of brass and marked with some letters, very good preserved condition, except hand strap. Leather handle/strap has damage, leather pilling, please see all my pictures regarding condition. Edges are fine, no scratches or pilling, shiny leather, looks fresh,just slight minimal wear. Inside bag is lined with soft, shiny genuine leather. Very clean inside.Hardware is made of brass metal,free of rust, patina-ted,tarnished, aged, not cleaned, strong, clutch works perfect. Just handle strap needs little improvement and consolidation with brown leather paste/conditioner. Handle strap is lined with brown leather that is not cracked or broken. The purse is elegant, authentic vintage, retro, made of good quality leather. Size, medium, 8\" tall, 9.5\" wide( bottom), 9\" (top), 2.5\" in depth.Any info regarding designer/brand is welcome.
