Vintage 1950\'s Jefferson Electric clock lot.
One is the Golden Hour, one is the Golden Helm
The Golden Hour motor runs when out of the clock, but stops, gets stuck when mounted, probably gears getting jammed? When it stops, you can pop the cover off the motor and turn the wheel to get it going, but sticks after a few seconds. The gold plated case looks great and has the original base cover. The center disc is glass and in good condition.
The Golden Helm actually runs good and as far as I can tell would keep time but the center weighted gear assembly that the hands mount to is missing... I put a little sticker dot on the clear disc to simulate a minute hand and plugged it in, and the dot moved as would a minute hand and seemed to be accurate. The black plastic bottom cover is from a Golden Minute model, but fits on the Helm case, and the hands for it shown aren\'t Golden Helm hands, maybe Golden Minute hands too? The Gold plated case is very good. The center clear disc is plastic.
