Wonderful Old Antique Fur Clip
1920\'s era.
An unusual piece it is a flower with cobalt blue poured glass petals that features seldom seen design elements which are quite rare. First off, the cobalt blue color of the glass petals is stunning, rich and deep. Set in the center of this bloom are paste stones which are intricately faceted with excessive facet work.
The flower stem area of the design features 1/2 moon shaped faceted glass stones in jewel tone colors that are made to look like gemstones. Emerald green, sapphire blue, amethyst purple, ruby red, and and golden topaz

. The flower and stem design itself is 3 dimensional. Beautifully detailed leaves seem to move, they are furled over and under the glass petals, very detailed. The background bottom leaves have tiny paste stones set in them as well adding sparkle to that area of the clip.

This piece is in beautiful antique condition.

The silver metal has a nice dark patina on it now and all stones are present and in very good - excellent vintage condition. I only see one area to note, a cobalt blue glass petal which has a few small scratches on it. Nothing that takes away from the beauty of this piece but noted.
