some brief research indicates he served in the early jet age 64 Fighter Squadron formation display team in 1954 flying meteor jet aircraft, he was a test pilot and served at the Aircraft & Armament Experimental Establishment ( A & A E.E.) Boscombe Down and went on to be Commandant - Air Commodore Test & Evaluation there around 1979, more research could be done to find more out about this officers interesting career in the RAF and after
