You are viewing a Complete Collector Plate Set of 8ImperialJingdezhen (the pamphlet actually reads Ching-te Chen) Porcelain \"Scenes From the Summer Palace\" Porcelain.
They were produced under the guidance of China National Arts & Crafts by Master Artisan Zhang Song Mao.
They were produced from 1988-1990 & are each 8 1/2\"wide. They were distributed in the U.S.A. by Bradford Exchange.
The Limited Edition set seriesis as follows:
First Plate--The Marble Boat &
2nd--The Jade Belt Bridge--both in picture #3
3rd--Hall That Dispels the Clouds &
4th--The Long Promenade--both in picture #4
5th--Garden of Harmonious Pleasures &
6th--The Great Stage--both in picture #5
7th--The Seventeen-Arch Bridge &
8th--Boaters on Kunming Lake--both in picture #6
These plates are still new in their original brown shipping boxes as shown. Then inside is the presentation box in perfect condition. No worn edges because the shipping box has always been protecting.
All Plates are new-never displayed-in their presentation box. They shouldshow beautifully because of the vibrant & crisp colors.
In addition, all paperwork including COA\'s is included. Lots of Chinese writings, I presume. The blue pamphlet in the last picture is apparently written in several languages-one of which is English.
This came from an estate of friends of mine & I am going to either take off her name & address or black it out on the brown shipping boxes.
Now for the bad news. They will weigh at least 24 lbs shipped. The Standard shipping cost to you with insurance will be $35.00 & I will be absorbing the rest. Anyway, that\'s what the P.O. postal rates read. I don\'t controll it. If you want them sent Priority, contact me 1st for pricing.
