This little jewel still plays music. I am not sure of the tune but I think it is playing \"Camping In Canaan\'s Land\". I think it may be for a baby or the music box needs lubed as it plays slower than the original song. It would be great for a baby\'s room because it could be like a lullaby. It has 2 or 3 tiny nicks in the part that the lid closes on. I am not sure that it didn\'t come that way before it was glazed. The bottom of the egg has 2 or 3 specks of black on it where it looks like it has sat on rough material. Other than that, it is cute, quaint and would definitely be an eye catcher.
