Here is a Columbia Model 163 portable crank phonograph that is in good running condition. It has a padded case that is in fair condition with some wear spots. The carry handle has been repaired with electrical tape and is usable, but I don\'t know if I\'d want to carry it by that (a handle from an old suitcase could be used to replace it). The interior has a very nice wood finish under the cover with a flip down compartment to store records. The gold plated components show wear to the finish. I don\'t believe the reproducer is the correct one. Somebody sanded the mounting hub so that it would fit the arm. It looks natural though and it gives wonderful sound. It plays nice and steady with excellent tone and volume. It sounds to me about as good as a floor model machine. I think this is a good quality player that should give many hours of use. I will throw in some steel needles to get you started. Estimated shipping weight is 30 lbs.
