This set contains c1890\'s beautiful, mottled Victorian fireplace tile with two 6\" square, floral medallion tiles. Enough for a complete fireplace surround. The layout shown, without grout, is approx 38.75\" tall x 36.5\" wide with inner opening approx. 31.25\" tall x 24\" wide. It can be set up in other ways. All tiles are shown in pics. Approx. 6 split during deconstruction. The tiles have original glazing, crazing, scratches, chips and vintage patina expected of reclaimed 100+ year old tile. There are a few bits of mortar /soot on some of the edges, as well as chips that will be covered with grout once installed. Overall great condition for age. The colors are beautiful. The field tiles are a pale blush pink and cream background, mottled with muted shades of sea foam and sea glass green with golden, bronzed, and amber accent tones... The field tiles are marked National on backs. The medallion tiles are marked U.S.E.T.W. Listing is for antique tile only. Please see all photos. All pieces are shown.
