This is a nice used USA made Conn “Shooting Star” Eb alto saxophone. I am not at all sure of its date of manufacture. The pads are in functional condition. It is completely playable in the normal range. There are some dings and scratches as you would expect, but it is in good overall cosmetic condition with I\'d guess more than 90% original shiny lacquer. It does have some illustrated but minor denting on the bow. The strap, mouthpiece kit, and new reed are included. The mouthpiece appears to be a white resin/plastic and functions well with this sax. The case is functional, probably original with the sax and in passable cosmetic shape but with some scuffs and fraying. There is a pop-up spring on one of the case clasps that doesn\'t pop open by itself. I\'m starting offerding at $165.00 with free shipping to you.
