GENERALCONDITION; In time warp Mint NEW OLD STOCK condition. As the original price sticker is still in place over the lever it has not ever been filled it would appear. As this pen has not been touched in any way (and many collectors would feel it to be a crime to do so - although once its yours you can do with it what you wish!) I am unable to confirm whether or not it may need a new ink sac, but if it does and you plan to use it this is an easy fix, although it is quite possible it is in pristine condition like the rest of the pen but there is no way to tell without breaking the seal or disassembling it.

CAP;- Mint nodentsorcracks. Triple gold plated cap band, no plating loss. Conway Stewart gold plated clip, in MINT condition, no plating loss. Has the \"CS\" diamond logo on it.

BARREL;Nocracksdentsorscratches. Black shiny resin. Still has the original naturalshinewith crisp imprint which reads \"CONWAY STEWART 388 MADE IN ENGLAND\" written on it. Likely dates from the 1940s. Original price sticker fixed around the mint condition gold plated lever has \"MED. 20\'9 CS . CS\" written on it which specifies a medium nib and the original price of 20\'9.

NIB;14KSOLIDGOLDhas\"CONWAY STEWART 14CT GOLD\" writtenonit.In MINT UNUSED condition. As stated the sticker says it is a medium nib and appears to have a significant amount of flex suggesting it is a flexible nib.

FILLER; Lever filler. As stated this has not been tested as this would break the seal, reducing the value of the pen in the eyes of many collectors. But once its yours feel free to give it a go if you want, it is yours after all!
