Here is a lovely Copeland Spode demitasse cup and saucer in the India Tree pattern. Asian burnt orange or rust and gold pattern with delicate fluted edges. This set is done in both atransfer-wareand hand painted work, highly intricate with patterns all around. The colors range in goldish yellows and beige, along with black & white to the boldest colors in burnt orange or rust. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches across at the handle by 2 1/8 inches across at the top. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches across. These pieces have the old marks. Marked on the bottom: Copeland, Spode, England, India Tree. Very good condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs, cup has some crazing and slight darkening (see photos).
