This is a postcard featuring the Cortile di S. Damaso inVatican City. It was designed by DonatoBramante, begun by 1509, and completedunder Raphael. It has two stories ofarches with applied pilasters at first- and second-floor levels and a colonnadedstory at the top. The postcard has a black and white picture of the courtyardand scalloped edges. The card measuresabout 4⅛” x 5⅞”.

The back of the card has at the bottom I-955 Edit. Brunher& C., Como – Ripr. Viet 1935. Up thecenter is Fot. G. Felici. It ispostmarked Vatican City, November 7, 1935.It was sent to Ashtabula, Ohio.

This postcard is in nice condition with no wrinkles or tears.
