A Period American PRIMITIVE cupboard, circa late 18th century to early 19th century, cherry and birch, origin Pennsylvania. This piece hails from an extensive collection of period American furnishings acquired from a Northern Calif. Estate over 20 years ago. Tons of carved gingerbread, beaded edges, scalloped cut aprons, etc, etc. The piece displays eight panes of glass, with a possible three replacements on the top cupboard with scallop shaped shelves inside. The cupboard is a two piece cupboard, with three drawers total, one large center silver ware drawer and two smaller side drawers, all dove tailed construction. COTTAGE WHITE paint, the wood I believe to be birch, in stunning condition, age considered, with no damage to report.
