Dear musicians and collectors, you are offerding on a very old 4/4 violin. The violin comes in my opinion from the 18th century and is in a good shape, though it has few repair over the instrument. The scroll is grafted. In my opinion the violin is ready to play - a new great strings should be considered and you would have a solo sound. The violin looks like a great GOBETTI or Gobetti school instrument. The scroll is grafted. The wood and work are amazing. No bass bar or sound post cracks.The origin of the violin is unknown. I could only tell you, that it\'s a very beautiful masterpiece and I hope you would love it.The wood is very beautiful and the purfling looks amazing. The setup is boxwood.The label says:
