The Mai-Kai opened in 1956 and they added the Molokai Bar in 1958 with the beautiful hula girl figurehead carving that inspired this mug. Original designer for the Molokai Maiden carving on display at the Mai-Kai is unknown, but the idea for this mug version was conceptualized by Swanky, sculpted by Crazy Al, and manufactured by Swank Pad Productions and Bone Productions. Licensed with the Mai-Kai and first premiered at Tiki Oasis 2014. The First 50 Mugs are Artist Proofs, One of a Kinds, and Deluxe Glazes in editions of up to, but not more than 10. After that are larger editions, including Kona Seafoam in an edition of 50. 9.5\" X 5.5\"
