I don\'t know the history of this decanter since I am selling it for my cousin and she has so many of them she is not sure either. I do know that both the decanter and the glass topper are free of chips and scratches. It is possible that this decanter is crystal and not plain glass. It may be more valuable than what I am selling it for but I can\'t find a comparable to the pattern on line so I am unable to price it any higher than the low end decanters.
I think it is very heavy compared to some of the other decanters we are selling. The weight with the topper, without packaging is 3 lbs 12.5 oz. It measures 11\" without topper and 16\" with topper for the height and the width is 3.25\" across the base, 5\" across at the widest part, and 2.25\" across at the top.
