This was Bettoney’s model directly second-in-line to their history-making Silva-Bet, and right from its most famous period – it has the C# mechanism patent pending number (instead of the final confirmed patent number), meaning it was made between early 1927 and mid-1929, and judging from the serial number, on the earlier side of that period. It really does sound as clean, accurate, and balanced as a Silva-Bet, but is a bit lighter-weight and not as flashy (matte instead of glossy finish).

It has just been completely repadded, tuned up and adjusted, and made generally ready to go by a top New York tech. Definitely a musical and historical classic, ready for a new career. Original case sportsa new handle, works fine.
