The CURT class 3 trailer hitch is the most common type of trailer hitch installed on full-size pickup trucks and SUVs. It is also popular on crossovers and mid-size trucks. That is because the class 3 packs the punch of a heavyweight hitch while still staying light on its feet. CURT class 3 hitches range in gross trailer weight capacity from 3,500 lbs. to an impressive 8,000 lbs. and offer a comparable tongue weight capacity ranging from 350 to 800 lbs. These hitches are engineered to be strong and capable, having a quality steel frame in round tube or square tube form. Class 3 trailer hitches are able to tow most standard size trailers, including utility trailer, boat trailers, campers, single-horse livestock trailers and trailers designed to haul ATVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles and other similar recreational vehicles. This type of hitch uses a 2 inch x 2 inch receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or towing accessory with an equivalent shank. One special feature about the class 3 that is not found in classes 1 or 2 is its compatibility with a weight distribution hitch. When used in combination with a WD hitch, the class 3s weight ratings increase, giving it more towing power. The gross trailer weight capacity increases to 12,000 lbs. and the tongue weight capacity to 1,200 lbs. CURT class 3 hitches are put through strenuous testing before they are deemed ready for market. They also come with two coatings - a liquid Aquence coating and a powder coat in high-gloss black - that cure together to form a strong resistance against rust, scratching, UV damage and other wear. These carriers cannot deliver to APO or PO boxes so we must have a physical address for delivery. Most orders ship within 24-48 hours of payment. Can I use USPS (United States Postal Service) to ship?
USPS is great for small packages and mail but most of what we sell is either too heavy or too large for them to even accept it. If you do have a smaller item of ours and want to use USPS, please use service with package ID # with proof of delivery.

How much are the shipping fees?
The shipping fees for all of our products are clearly stated on the checkout page. The fees cover FedEx, UPS, or USPS standard shipping.

What shipping methods do you have available?
We ship most of our items via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. In special cases, an item must be shipped LTL, if that is the case we will make sure you are properly notified and that you have all the information to receive the item without issue.

Should I pay for shipping insurance?
We highly recommend it! For you to receive a refund we must receive the part in "Like New" condition. If the part comes back to us damaged or any condition other than "Like New", then no refund will be given. Shipping insurance will cover you if part is damaged while on the way back to us.

Returns

We will accept any item back within 30 days of purchase as long as the following conditions are met:

-The item must be in original, unused condition and must be returned in the original packaging.

-We are unable to accept any item that has been installed and/or damaged.

-We cannot accept return items that are not in the original packaging.

These are constraints set by product manufacturers and we have to honor their policies on returns. Items returned in poor condition or having parts missing will not be credited.

Unless our company or the listing is in error, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs. In the event of a fitment issue we will require a VIN # for vehicle confirmation and the part number you have received to process your return.

FOR RETURNS: The customer is responsible for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee applies to select items on returned without an exchange.
FOR EXCHANGES: The customer is responsible for the return shipping. The shipping on your replacement item will be free of charge as a convenience to you. No restock fee will be applied for any item with an exchange.

We give you the option to either return for a refund or simply return for an exchange, it is completely up to you.

The customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number from us. You must contact us and obtain an RMA Number prior to returning any products. The item/items must be fully insured when returning. The customer is responsible for providing shipping insurance that covers the full price of any item being returned. Be sure the outside of the box has the RMA# clearly posted.

WARRANTY RETURNS When the product is received and it is determined that there is a fitment problem due to manufacturing defect, we simply request that you submit proof in the form of digital pictures. If the product proves to be defective, it will be returned at no charge to the customer and exchanged for a new non-defective item at no additional cost.

DAMAGE CLAIMS Please inspect your package thoroughly upon receiving it, any damage claims must be filed by contacting us through within 72 hours. Be sure to include:

Pictures (no bigger than 600x400 pixels) showing the damage sustained to the product, a picture showing the entire box (inside and outside of the box) and a picture showing the shipping label on your box.
Name, email address, and item number from the original purchase. Filing a timely claim and providing the necessary information will guarantee that you receive a fast resolution to such an unfortunate situation.
