Brand New Fly Rod Beautiful Flamed Payne 97 Swelled Butt Taper 7\' 4/5wt Maple burl seat, gorgeous seat hardware engraved Band & Cap, 2 tips. Nice tight fit, Super Z type nickle silver ferrules, vintage Agate stripper guide. Vintage style cigar cork grip, garnet wraps not color locked for a translucent candy apple red effect. Chrome guides snake guides, hook keeper & tip top. Awesome flex and powerful.A taper with nice flex all the way through. The colors used blend very well together on this fly rod it is gorgeous. The Payne Taper was planed from the Presidential Taper list. Tip weighs 14.3g, the base weighs 72.3 g for a total of 3.09 oz total weight with tip and base. This can also throw a 5 wt line.
Rod will ship in type of tube pictured. They do not dent, wonderful feature and will bend right back when bent.
