Stunning customV-brow headstall indark oil fromCircle Y, in new old stock/never used condition. This is a vintagespecial order Circle Y and markedOverlaid Sterling Mexico as shown;every bit of35 years old and has been hanging in a shop all theseyears. I don't believe that there are more than a handful of these in existance and you definately won't see yourself coming and going in the arena.The leather is pliable, doubled and stitched-show room fresh andis going to make a fantastic piece to add to your show equipment or tack collection.
The bridle conchos are 1 1/2" across and thebuckles are marked as shown; it is hard not to notice the intricate filigree work and hand engraving. Ileft the patina on the silver as it helps denote quality and allows the engraving to stand out. As you can see it has tarnished dark from the last time it had been polished and that will allow you to decide whether to go for a high shine, or leave the black in the cracks, so to speak, to fully highlight the engraving pattern.
On the longestsetting the headstallmeasures 43" long and on the smallest setting is 35" with room to add more holes in either direction.The browband has a total length of 15".
