This is a 1946 D\'Angelico Excel with serial number 1731.

All binding is intact. Some binding wear around f-holes and headstock but overal in good condition.

Pickguard is a reproduction as the original disintegrated. This has left a stain on the finish underneath, but did not damage it. 

Original finish.

Original tuners, bridge and tailpiece. Original case.

Crack on treble side below f-hole that was professionally repaired years ago.

Slight pitting in original frets between 16-20, but does not affect playability.
