According to Wikipedia: Wallace Allan Wood (June 17, 1927 – November 2, 1981) was an American comic book writer, artist and independent publisher, best known for his work on EC Comics\'s Mad and Marvel\'s Daredevil. He was one of Mad\'s founding cartoonists in 1952. Although much of his early professional artwork is signed Wallace Wood, he became known as Wally Wood, a name he claimed to dislike. Within the comics community, he was also known as Woody, a name he sometimes used as a signature. In addition to Wood\'s hundreds of comic book pages, he illustrated for books and magazines while also working in a variety of other areas – advertising; packaging and product illustrations; gag cartoons; record album covers; posters; syndicated comic strips; and trading cards, including work on Topps\' landmark Mars Attacks set. EC publisher William Gaines once stated, \"Wally may have been our most troubled artist... I\'m not suggesting any connection, but he may have been our most brilliant\".He was the inaugural inductee into the comic book industry\'s Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1989, and was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1992.

Particulars of the Sale:

1) I never charge a \"shipping & handling\" fee (*unless otherwise plainly noted and under exceedingly rare circumstances - such as when shipping an extraordinarily large, heavy, or fragile item)

2) In asking for your final invoice, Istrongly urge you to request from me (and then opt & pay for) postal insurance for each and every purchase - items which are damaged during shipping transit by associated handlers and carriers (and not due to poor packaging, of course, the ultimate responsibility for which - and understandably - would rest squarely on my own shoulders) will not be returnable, refundable, or available for exchange. This is especially important for international buyers as foreign mail services (even those operating under the auspices of the USPS) can, unfortunately,be exceedingly \'rough\' during the acceptance and parcel-delivery phase

3) I most assuredly offer combined shipping when items that can be placed safely together are purchased by a single buyer & whose dates of sale completion fall within a 3-day time span(oftimes, exceptions to this end-date rule can be made - please, however, do not assume this is so, simply ask prior to offerding and I will be more than happy to respond to your inquiry at the earliest possible moment). Please keep in mind that, asit would be unwise for me to place a fragile paper good in the same package as a heavy and/or sharp-edged bronze statue (or any similar combination of goods), combined shipping would not be offered in such a circumstance

4) When returning an item for refund or exchange, postage must be paid for by the buyer. Furthermore, the item must be returned via the same method of shipment as it was received to be eligible. Lastly, insurance must be purchased to ensure the item arrives back in the same condition as it was sent out

5) Items for which insurance was not originally purchased are not eligible for return (*unless, obviously, item received was not the item originally purchased)

6) Returns are (though this should - & could - probably go without saying)absolutely not accepted in instances of \'Buyer\'s Remorse\' - as such, please ensure that you are confident in the appeal of that upon which you are planning to offer prior to acting on the impulse to place said offer

7) In cases where a buyer plans on having an item authenticated by a professional (& reputable) authentication service, allowances for extended return periods can & often will be made (*within reason, please - no one should expect a two-to-three month grace periodin which to find said service and then wait for & receive their findings as this is plainly unreasonable). To be granted such an extension, please contactthe sellerprior to offerding in order to ensure that such arrangements can be made

8) Please note that the shipping quotes provided by are (for whatever reason) sometimes considerably higher than the actual shipping cost when finally calculated at the seller\'s end. If you are being quoted a shipping price by and it seems unreasonably high to you, please contact me with your concerns and I will re-calculate the shipping cost based on your and the item-in-question\'s specifics.
