Asuperb and ultra rare/sought after EAST MEETS WEST PORFOLIO by Geoff DARROW.It\'s been sold out for years since its release in 1986. Produced by Aedena towhich we owe the City of Fire portfolio commanding high prices when it appearson the market. So do not miss this chance on this one before it becomesunaffordable. As a matter of fact an ok-condition copy of the regular editionwas recently available on a well-known artbook dealer’s website for 700$ andsold quickly. I myself sold a very nice copy recently for 1000$.

Thisthick box contains 12 plates once you remove the top part. 10 offsetsplates forming an exclusive story featuring Clint Eastwood and Bourbon Thret,the Shaolin cowboy as well as 2 b/w plates featuring the production credits andthe DARROW SIGNATURE AND NUMBER! FANTASTIC!!!

Sizeis 17 cm by 23cm.

Only650 copies of the portfolio were produced plus a are version for the artist andpublisher, limited to 100 copies and numbered as HC (Hors Commerce-Not forsale).

THIS PORTFOLIO COMES FROM THEULTRA LIMITED RUN OF 100 COPIES (HC). IT ALSO COMES SIGNED BY DARROW!!!!

CONDITION: now please read carefully. This copy of the portfoliocomes with the wrong box top. The top comes from the portfolio dedicated toARNO (a French artist) which was issued in the same collection as the Darrowone. It fits the bottom but it\'s not the proper top to the Darrow folio. Thebottom part of the box has rips in the bottom left & right corners as shownin the pictures. Easily glueable but I did not risk it. The top has rips in allbut one corner and show signs of shelf wear as can be seen in the pictures.There is a humidity stain which can be seen on the reverse (white) part of thetop. All of the 12 plates are present and in excellent condition which is whatyou\'re really after in this portfolio. It\'s still a good copy of this portfolioas it is fragile and tends not to age well. The price reflects the fact it\'s notcomplete per se and I would consequently entertain reasonable offersconsidering its defects.
