Size : Height 3.9\"(10.0cm) x Dia. 3.1\"(8.0cm) Item Description :This is a vintage Japanese pottery bud vase of Seto ware, which were made by the 1st class potter, Shunto Kato (1916-2005) about 40-50 years ago.
He is a very great potter, who won the Blue-Ribbon Award of one of the most famous Japanese Art Exhibitions, Nitten Exhibition in 1960. He also won the Prime minister award of Nitten Exhibition later. In addition, his works were officially purchased by the Emperor for his daily use for a long time.
The seal of the potter is stamped on the bottom.
The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & the profile of the potter are also included.
