New in original box. I opened the tape on the styro to make sure it was in good order, but could see that nothing had ever been removed, before I had opened it.

Even the little bulb was in a bag, so I closed, re-taped it and returned it to the thin outer cardboard box. You will be the first to set this up.

The box is very thin and flimsy (I wish Dept 56 would make sturdier boxes). I did manage to return it without too much stretching.There is a kink in the box bottom corner and abrasion along the edge of the paper in front, some random box wear...All from storage and/or me removing the styrofoam box.

This is animated ....The lights inside of the building light up and also run the magnetic device under the base to make the 3 car train move around the house on the track.There are a few videos on line to show the train moving.

Hand painted Porcelain building. Includes light cord with handy on/off switch on the cord.All enclosed as shown.
