This is an exquisite original antique print from the 1870sby Sir Edwin Landseer. It depicts a lovely dog mourning and standing guard at the coffin of his dead master. Very sentimental & GORGEOUS!!!

It is an antiquecollotype (heliotype) print, which was a high quality printing technique that yielded both great detail and fine tones, and was generally reserved for high end art reproduction of the era.

The print is high quality; and the original paper is thick. The heliotype image is surrounded by a yellow/cream colored border with a white caption. This could be trimmed or covered in a frame if desired.It has itsoriginal tissue overlay.

The page is approximately 10.5 x 13.5 inches, with the image area being approx.6.5x 8inches.
