DRAMATIC ANTIQUE ENGLISH VICTORIAN WHITBY JET CAMEO DROP EARRINGS c1870 :

A pair of antique English, solid Whitby Jet earrings; all hand carved & highly polished and set with foliate style jet cameos.

Pretty, typically Victorian & extremely collectable - very wearable too!

CONDITION: All original andgenerally good. Slight signs of wear and a few small nicks and chipsto Jet commensurate with age and use. Old breaks and repairs to tops, wires probably reset in antiquity - see pictures.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1860/80. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:Total drop & bodies 46 x 20mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 6.5grams together.
