For your considerationtoday Is thisdug Civil War 12 pound Boremann Fuse cannon ball shell.. This shell is INERT,{TOTALLY SAFE}for display and was disarmed by a Profecional.. Photos show water flowing through it,,, in one side& out the other like a fountain. It was recovered by a local resident in Richmond Virginia.. It\'s 4- 1/2 inch in diameter, & 11- pounds in weight.. The heavy rust was removed & a clear flat sealer was applied to preserve it.. I used a larger drill bit in the second holeat the bottom to checkthe case shot.. It has lead shot in it shown by the pieced that came out of it..The buyer will receive the little bag of matrix pieces with the shell.. One shot came loose inside-- andmoves around when you pick it up.. The bottom is a little rough from metal decay but displays well as shown.. The exact location and year recovered are not known,,, only taged from Richmond..
