DESCRIPTION:A wonderful, vintage French bulldog figure, I\'ve also seen it identifed as a Boston terrier. This dogis about 3\" high x 3\" wide. Top quality, hard paste porcelain made by Dahl Jensen. Dahl Jensen was in business from 1925-1985. Marked on the bottom as shown, it says: COPENHAGEN DENMARK 1088 (model number) and initials of decorator.Factoryfirst in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Designed by Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen who originally worked for Bing & Grondahl, then started his own company, which was in business from 1925-1985. He is very well known for his dog figures which really show the personality of the breeds. These dogs are very collectible & highly sought after by dog lovers.
