ANTIQUE HALF DOLL
Dainty antique hand painted porcelain half doll measuring 2-1/3\" tall. Featuring a beautifully molded figure of a Pierrot style woman in fitted green corset with large orange buttons, she wears a tight cloche style Pierrot hat - her closed arms rest lightly on her breast. Designed to be sewn onto the top of a pin cushion, this little beauty dates to the early 1900s and is faintly incised GERMANY on the back.
Condition is very nice with no damage - no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or discoloration other than a tiny nip on the bottom back edge - guessing a result of how they were removed from the mold - she stands independently for display. Just the sweetest little half doll - lovely addition to any sewing, vanity or pin cushion collection!
