We will be away from Monday the 28th until Saturday August 2nd. We will try to access messages while we are away.For your offerding consideration today, we have a pair of antique Victorian wedding shoes. They are made of ivory silk fabric, and there is a rosette near the toe area, and three ribbon flowers in the rosette. There is one in the center and one on each side. They look like roses to me. The soles are marked J.P & N.Co. These daintily little shoes are in pretty good condition for their age. There is wear and fray to the sheer rosette, not as much on the roses. The silk on the shoes is in good condition, with some age soiling, some wear to the fabric but no holes, and there has been some repairs to the interior kid leather lining. All in all, a nice looking pair of antique wedding shoes, even with the age flaws.As with all shoes of the era, these do not have a size in them, so please do not ask me to guess what size they are, I don\'t know, and I don\'t want to guess, so I have provided the following measurements so that you may decide if these would work for you. When placed up against a wall, and measured from the outside, where the heel of your foot would sit, to the tip of the toe, they measure a little over 8 1/2 inches long, and the width of the sole at the widest part is 2 1/2 inches . Please do not ask me to remove the stuffing to get an interior measurement. The shoes have been stuffed for years, and I do not want to remove it.Emails with offers to purchase items at reduced prices will not be answered.
