These items are from a temperature controlled warehouse/vault that have been kept in storage since 1962.
They belonged to a family member and were only used for a few years, they sold their house in 1962 and everything at that time went into the vault.
Everything was professionally wrapped in cotton and boxed and the first light of day they have seen was in March of 2014 when I took everything out, we were the longest rental of a vault that this storage facility ever had, so they have basically been in a time capsule, to have furniture this old that has not been touched by human hands in the past 52 years is pretty cool!
Original owner did not have children,and the pads are wool and original and look brand new.
But both the frames have cracks and have been repaired prior to 1962.
I have close up pictures of the damage on both frames shown with the photos.
I\'m not sure who the maker is, I thought it might have been France and Daverkosen since the other furniture from their home is, but I can\'t be sure.
The color in these pic\'s look like the couches are yellow, but in person they are more a greenish color,it seemslike my carmera didn\'t pick up the color to well.
