Heliconfurniture was a power in the ultra-high-end contract furniture market creating executive desks and office furnishingsuntil the mid-1980s. Helikon was family-owned since its founding in 1959, but the family sold thecompany in 1986 to Herman Miller. The quality of Helikon furnishings is every bit as good as Knoll or Herman Miller and this piece was VERY heavily constructed and intended for long term office use. It is a rock solid office credenza that can also be used as an entertainment center as seen in the photos.

The piece is contracted of Oak and Teak but the coloring of the oak has a very Teak look to it due to age and petunia.

Top section is a long open shelf or open slot. Under that area there are two drawers on the left a hanging file section on the right and open storage area in the middle that is concealed by folding doors.

Open shelf / slot area (Internal): 63.25\" Long x 18.5\" Deep x 4.25\" High

Open Center Section (Internal): 27\" Long x 18.5\" Deep x 11.25\" High
