In excellent condition, free of chips, cracks- of course, the nature of pâte de verre are the bubbles, rough sculpted edges, etc., and so if this is not of your taste, perhaps pâte de verre is not a suitable sort of crystal for you to collect.
This is a vintage piece purchased through a highly regarded sale house. I noticed upon receipt that one leaf appears shorter than the others although the end of the leaf shows no damage or repair. I was assured that each Daum vase is unique, one of a kind, and some have shorter petals and some have longer petals. It does not affect the beauty of the piece and is mentioned for accuracy as this vase is sold as is with no returns. Additional photos are provided upon request.
