What we have here is a Beautiful \"Wolf Raven\" Carved Panel made by Native Northwest CoastKwakwaka\'wakw Carver DAVID ROBERTSON from Kingcome Inlet British Columbia Canada... 13 3/4 inches long by 5 3/4 inches tall. Stand not included. This is a boldly carved piece with artistically creative details, displays well. Just look at the interesting artistic idea of using the \"Raven\" heads as \"Wolf\'s\" haunches and legs, clever and striking. Reverse side is signed and with additional information. Carved painted and stained. Used vintage condition... may or may not have nicks, dings, rubs, scratches and imperfections etc as is common with handmade Native arts, see photos for condition. I do not know how old this is... look at the photos and you decide to your best judgement what this is, how old it is, its condition and what it is worth. Enjoy for a lifetime or resell for a profit! David Robertson was born June 13th, 1943 in Alert Bay, British Columbia, located off the north east coast of Vancouver Island. He spent most of his adolescence growing up in the small village of Gwayi in Kingcome Inlet and is a member of the the Dzawada\'enuxw Tribe of the Kwakwaka\'wakw First Nations . It is here, at the age of five, where he found his true love for carving, after his father William Robertson taught him to carve for the first time. Presently, he resides on Gabriola Island and carves on a full-time basis.
