Here are 5 Carol Dayoriginals from the Carol Day story, Jimmy Hayes, which ran from May throughOctober, 1963. The strips are #2086-2087and 2089-2091. Jimmy Hayes is a story about a wealthy, middle-aged businessmanwho pursues Carol and becomes a target of the gossip magazines. In thissequence Jimmy, Carol and Joe wind up their visit to Jimmy’s house and thenarrange the magazine feature about Jimmy with Joe’s editor.

Size of each is about 19inches by 7.375 inches, except for 2089 which has the right and left marginstrimmed. It is about 17.625 x 7.375 inches. Image size is consistently about4.875 by 16.875 inches. Dialog balloons are pasted up, and there is some lightstaining and minor damage in a few of the dialog balloon. Also note that in themiddle panel of 2089 Carol and Joe’s dialog is pasteup of a foreign languagetranslation (Dutch?). There’s some soiling and smudging, mainly in the margins.
