Art Deco ring in platinum with filigree sides, containing 2 Oval Rubies at app. 1.20 tw, one app. 6.5mm, the other app. 5.5mm, 4 prong in the middle, with 16 round Diamonds at app. .16 tw with a color and clarity grading of IJK-SI2-I1, which are bead set either side in leaf and ribbon-like sections. Marked inside Plat and is a finger size of 5.5. The top of the ring is 11.6mm wide, shank is 1.85mm at the bottom. Top side has filigree cut-out design. Under magnification the rubies have some surface wear/nicks/chips and natural surface and interior inclusions, diamonds fine with little wear on the platinum. Weighs 2.8 dwt or 4.35 grams. Note that one ruby is larger than the other, and photos taken in different lighting to show they can appear lighter and darker depending on the light, in person they face up with a nice red/pink color. All genuine rubies or sapphires are assumed to have beenheat treated unless otherwise specified. Heating is a normal industry procedurewhich is stable and permanent. Genuine rubies and sapphires are not synthetic,nor Lab Created, they are real stones.On the GIA diamond grading scale, IJK color is near colorless to faint yellow, SI2-I1 clarity goes from slight inclusions to the beginning of the visibly included range.
