Now here\'s a great book for the hunting enthusiast, whether from Texas not not!
This book is full of hunting tips from experts and it certainly does a good job of describing the unique hunting situation in Texas 40 years ago.You can see the list of chapters in the pictures but let me assure you that it covers everything.As the author says, it was written to acquaint hunters with the habits and characteristics of deer in Texas - the idea being of course to increase their success of taking one.Chapters include Mating, Movement, Signs, Methods of Hunting, Rattling, Trailing, Guns, Field Dressing, Butchering and Trophy Measuring.As I say, complete.
I particularly like the vintage photos - a big buck laying over the fender of 1930\'s Ford, a 30\" Muley, 2 hunters looking down at their taken deer - 12 monster bucks, tree stands, box stands and lots more.
This Hard Cover book, about 8\" x 6 1/2\" is like new. The spine has not been broken, the cover and pages are completely unmarked.You could proudly give this book as a gift to any hunter. An old hunter would really love it.
