Hi! This is a beautiful doll made in Germany sometime between the 1920\'s-1940\'s. I am basing that on other cloth dolls that I have had i.e. Lenci...This dolls looks like Trilby but I am not sure. She is about 12\" tall and in over all excellent clean condition. Her head seems to be paper maiche. It is hand painted and all original. She has perfect almost clover shaped red lips with matching nostril and eye dot paint. She has lots of cheek blush, expressive brown eyes and dark brows. Her face is uniform in color. I see no damage to the head. No cracks, chips, etc... She has a full head of blond curly hair. It looks like it was woven onto newspaper. She is marked Germany on the back of her head. She has an all cloth body. It is peach/pink like skin. It is very firm. The limbs are attached to her body with metal wire. She has individual fingers. There are a few spots on the back of her lower legs. No bad. She is wearing a darling white cotton dress with tiny blue rose offers on it. It has capped sleeves and a white collar. It has 2 secure snaps in the back. Over the dress she wears a white gauze apron with blue stitching. It ties in the back and it has 2 secure snaps one of which is missing it\'s back. if you have any questions or comments about this doll I would love to hear from you.
