This rare find is a great Delta Gamma badge c.1915/16. It features a polished anchor design with a white enameled shield bearing the Greek letters in gold and motto on the bar above. The rope surrounding this is a separate piece of gold that has been hand wrapped around the badge. It is hand engraved \"Adele Small, Beta.\" Adele is mentioned in the 32nd and 34th editions of the Anchora. It appears she was class of 1919. The pin bears an early Auld makers mark and secures with a period pin and knuckle clasp; both in excellent condition. This is a rare and early find for DG badges. This badge weighs 3.3 grams. The piece measures 23/32\" (17.9mm) long and 15/32\" (12.1mm) wide.
