Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) President\'s pin and key.
DKG is a professional honor society of key women educators in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and Japan. Our mission is:to promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.Inscribed on the back of both pieces is 5-11-29, the date the organization was formed in Austin, TX.The president\'s pin is inscribed also with my Aunt\'s name, a makers mark that I don\'t recognize and 10k.They came to me as part of my Aunt\'s collection of pins. They were in a small plastic box, pictured, which may or may not be original case. The tissue inside the case is embossed with Balfour, who might be the manufacturer of the items.
Both items appear to be in very good condition, both have hinged pin mechanism on back.Dimensions of pin: approximately 2\" long x 1/2\" tallkey: 1 1/4\" tall x 1/2\" wide.
Coin in photos is for relative sizing and not included in the sale.I have most of my aunt\'s collection of pins up for sale, and will combine shipping if you purchase more than one piece.
