First off let me tell you that my button expertise is in non-military items. I know little about military buttons, insignia, etc. I have purchased a large collection of military buttons, insignia, pins, etc. from Europe that I will be listing over the coming weeks. I will provide as much information as I can but it may be limited. This insignia is Danish. It is gold washed metal. It has a stippled background with three running lions in blue enamel and 9 hearts in red enamel. It has two prongs on the reverse for attachment. It Is marked on the back C. L. SEIFERT KJOBENHAVN under a crown. It measures just a nudge under 1\" and the prongs are 3/4\" long. It is in excellent condition. I have not cleaned the insignia. I will leave that to the new owner. I am starting this one at $9.95. I do not know the value and will leave the buyers to determine that. If you know the value is not at least that amount I would appreciate knowing that and will adjust the opening offer accordingly. Please use the photographs as an aid to my description.
