This is a dental school typodont from the early 1970\'s that can be used for patient education or the two cast gold bridges can be sold for gold content. The tooth colored material on the bridges is acrylic,which is very light. I think that the gold content in crown and bridge dental gold of that era was about 70%. The one bridge is cemented and I did not debond it,in case you want for education(but you could remove it). The non cemented one weighs approximately .4 ounce,so the total approximate weight is .8 ounce for the two. With gold at $1300/ounce X .8 ounce =$1040...with it being 70% gold..$1040 x 70%= $728. This could be a quite good investment if gold prices rise and you are essentially getting the typodont quite cheaply. Higher shipping price is due to insurance.
