The Old Globe Theatre is a Set of 4from Dickens Village Series, “Historical Landmark Series”. Limited tothe 1998 Year of Production, this originally retailed for $175.00. With theexception of the two hooks missing on either side of the front door (they holdthe lanterns which are included) this is in great condition. “There is perhapsno theatre more famous throughout the world than London’s Globe Theatre”. Theside of the packaging gives the history of this iconic landmark in London. Fromits original inception in 1598-99, through all the writers and actors who havegraced the stage during its time. The Globe was extraordinarily popular inShakespeare’s London, for whom the theatre is most widely remembered. Thisrendition of The Globe Theatreis the second grouping in the HistoricalLandmark Series. The set includes the main building of the Globe Theatredecorated for the season, complete with galleries, stage, and open yard. Twotrumpeting heralds announce the newest production being performed. The Flagsflying over-head is another indication to the publicof the current play,just as it was at the original Globe. A distinctive characteristic landscapedsign with the name of this Historical Landmark Series piece completes thisintricately detailed set.

This comes with the double lightadapter and booklet giving the rich history of the Globe and in the originalpackaging. Please note that this is a large box. I have reinforced the outerpackaging due to its age. Shipping will reflect the size and weight. Listingprice reflects missing hooks.
