We are old, downsizing, and will be moving to a smaller place as soon as my husband retires. Most of my sales are items from my home that need to go because there will be no room for them. I am extremely careful with my things (learned it growing up with depression grandparents) so most of the items I am selling are in excellent condition. If there are defects, they will be noted in the sale.

I answer questions quickly andtry my best to give an accurate description of an item.
Domestic Shipping: For anything over 13 oz. I use the bay shipping calculator from my address to your address which calculates the EXACT fees charged by the post office. I do not add handling fees so what comes up is exactly what the post office charges for your weighted item. I have listed both the shipping weight and box dimensions for anyone who wants to verify postage cost at usps.com or comparison shop at ups or fedex. If you find a cheaper way to ship, I would be happy to use it since shipping is so horribly expensive now. I am now offering both priority and parcel post in the sale listing because I have found that the smaller packages are many times cheaper to ship priority than parcel post. Please look at the cost of both before you pay.
I ship 1stclass for any item 13 oz or under and those fees are flat rate fees set by the post office. Again, I have no handling fees so what they charge me is what I charge you. If you want a cost breakdown by weight of 1st class postal fees, I would be happy to get it to you. It starts at $2.60 for any item 3 oz. or less.
If I have accidentally overcharged whatthe post office charges me for shipping, I will refund the difference.(Sometimes standing on the bathroom scale with and without the package isn\'t the most accurate way to get the weight.)Ipersonally incur the cost of envelopes, wrap, baggies, etc. and do not pass that on to the buyer.I recycle when I can.Multiple purchases are combined, re-packed, and re-weighed.
I ship same day or within 24 hours if payment is made late in the day. All buyers will automatically have a delivery confirmation or an insurance number uploaded when I pay for postage to ship your item.
International shipping: I am now using the global shipping program through . I ship to an international mailing center in Kentucky and they ship it to you. I only see the fees that I pay to mail it to the center on your sale total and I have no idea how much they are charging you to ship from the shipping center to your address across the ocean. I charge you exactly what it costs me to ship to them with no handling fees and never see the actual total shipping costs you pay.
