These uniquely hand painted collectible ceramic, porcelain, &earthenware buildings bring a touch of the nostalgic past to a home\'s holidaydécor, especially when grouped in village, city, or countryside tableaus. Ifnot the largest, Department 56\'s Original Snow Village is certainly one of thelargest of these collections of shops, houses, buildings, & accessories.Although the impressed wording on the bottom of the Single Car Garage reads,\"Snow Village Garage 1988 (c) Department 56,\" a small label also onthe bottom reads, \"The Original Snow house Series (c) 1989 Dept. 56Taiwan-R.O.C.\"

The hand painted ceramic building measures about 6-1/2 inches wide by5-3/4 inches deep by 4-7/8 inches high. The building, which comes from ournonsmoking home, has no chips or cracks. As shown in my Photographs, the garagewith loft & dormers comes with an electrical cord with an in-line on-offswitch, & its polyfoam storage container with sleeve.
