Mark on bottom reads, \"Patent May 23, 1905 - 10 - Derby Silver Co. - 416.\" I\'ve had loving cup trophies before but this is one of the more repousse ornate silver plated ones I\'ve seen. I\'ve had this packed away for well over a decade; purchased near the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Art Nouveau design is fabulous; detailed and composed in a well executed design - excellent example of the period. It is engraved, \"W. A. Jack Billiard Trophy - Peninsular Club - Grand Rapids, Mich. - 1919.\" It is about 10\" tall; top diameter measures, about 5 7/8\" diameter (wider handles as you can see); bottom measures, 5 1/16\" diameter. The handles have a graceful flare. I\'ve tried to picture the wear on these; all three have rough speckling, tiny nicks, especially on the top; one handle has two good sized dents (same area); top rim is also pushed in on one area. I have to wonder what the owner did with this! Celebration drinking - heavy handling; who knows. I don\'t see any other dents, just surface wear on metal. Most of the silver is worn and spotty. Despite all of the flaws, this is still a wonderful piece with the well defined floral designs surrounding top and bottom and the elegant flare of the handles that reach to the top rim; shape of the piece is appealing as well - such a nice transition from the narrow mid section that transitions into the bulbous top section. It is an attractive display item and it makes a statement. I always thought I\'d find a place for it but anything that has history, outside of my purview, belongs to someone else. PLEASE review photos and contact me for any further details. MANY THANKS!
