2 Pairs of Vintage Ed Levin Sterling Silver Earrings
These earrings came directly from Ed Levin\'s personal estate in Bennington Vermont, his home before taking his business to NYC. A small sale house near me in Northfield, MA, was lucky enough to sale off the contents of the estate, and I was able to purchase a few jewelry items (but there were paintings, pottery, and incredible early pieces of jewelry as well). This listing features two different pairs of sterling silver earrings, both signed Ed Levin. The fancy curled wire shaped earrings have a 14k gold overlay, which Levin was known for. The small hoop earrings are pretty dainty, but they have a nice and simple modernist design. As you can see in the pictures, the gold overlay earrings are not perfectly uniform, and you may have to do a little bending as the silver is easily malleable, but that will be simple and I think they are fine as they are. The gold earrings measure approximately 0.82\" inches long, and the small hoop earrings measure 0.48\" inches. These earrings definitely had a high retail price originally, and would be great to wear or give as a gift!
