Dick Tracy, crime fighter, had married the love of his life, Tess Trueheart. It wasn\'t long before they were expecting a baby. Born in a squad car on May 21, 1951, Bonny Braids was introduced to the world in 1952 in the form of this crawling doll. Contests were run for the choosing of her name and after the original doll came out there were also a puppet and this wind up version.She is a large metal and hard plastic wind-up baby in excellent working condition. This crawling Bonnie braids baby doll measures about 11 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The head arms and legs on this toy are hard plastic. She wears her original baby costume and overall in in very good condition for her age. No broken fingers or toes, has no maker marks.Please, check many pictures we made for condition and details
